Lisa Reilly Payton, a senior partner in the firm, focuses her law practice on tax controversy, tax planning and estate planning.

Tax Controversy

In her tax controversy practice, Lisa represents individuals before the IRS and Arizona Department of Revenue in income tax collection issues involving:

  • unfiled tax returns,

  • penalty assessments and

  • past-due taxes.

She also assists businesses with employment tax and income tax matters before the IRS and with sales tax and withholding tax issues before the Arizona Department of Revenue.

Estate and Business Planning

Lisa's estate planning experience includes assisting individuals, couples, families and business owners in preparing and executing estate planning documents, including:

  • wills

  • trusts

  • financial powers of attorney

  • health care powers of attorney

  • living wills.

She also assists business owners in business formation, succession planning and tax planning.
