Senior partner and estate controversy attorney John Fitzpatrick has been elected as a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC).

John is one of only 33 ACTEC Fellows in Arizona. He is the fourth Frazer Ryan attorney to receive this honor, joining Dave Frazer (Partner Emeritus) Jim Ryan, and T.J. Ryan.

ACTEC is a nonprofit association of lawyers and law professors skilled and experienced in the preparation of wills and trusts; estate planning; and probate procedure and administration of trusts and estates of decedents, minors and incompetents.

John’s ACTEC election is the most recent of multiple professional achievements. He enjoys a long-standing AV Preeminent® rating — the highest possible rating from his peers for legal ability and ethical standards — and is a Best Lawyers® and Super Lawyers honoree and a past chair (2018-2019) of the State Bar of Arizona’s Probate and Trust Section.
